Compensation Studies
Indiana State University
JBL Associates completed a compensation study for Indiana State University (ISU) that included analyses of faculty, support, and executive, administrative and professional (EAP) staff salaries. The study looked specifically at ISU’s salaries, benefits, student employment policies, and compensation plan structure for 2003-04.
We examined salaries across several dimensions (gender, minority status, years employed, type of job) using different methods, including salary compression studies and gender and minority equity analysis. Peer universities and other private and public organizations were surveyed to complete the market analyses. In addition, JBLA analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of introducing a broadbanded compensation structure at ISU.
JBL Associates prepared a final report to be used internally by ISU. For more information on this project, please contact at 301-654-5154.
